My 1986 Monte Carlo SS

I bought this car in the fall of 2007.

The stock 305 just wasnt cutting it. So I built up a ~400HP 383 to drop in there.

Here's some of the parts ready to be installed.

Pistons installed.

Installing the valves.

Installing a Trans-go shift kit.

Installing motor.

Welding up a dual exhaust with H-pipe

  Here's a video of the first time starting it up. Running with open headers, it was loud even with earplugs.
